Status of Accessibility
This website is based on the requirements of EN 301 549 and takes into account the technical specifications in accordance with Section 4 of the BFSG.
Currently, fissler.com is undergoing technical and visual improvements. The goal is to continuously work towards a high level of conformity with the requirements of EN 301 549 in order to ensure that the website is perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust.
Examples of measures already implemented:
- Responsive design for mobile devices
- Keyboard accessibility for core functions
- Optimized contrast ratios and font sizes
- And further measures
Planned and ongoing measures:
- Conducting an external accessibility audit
- Training editors on accessible content creation
- Optimizing alternative texts and semantic HTML structure
Known Limitations
Despite our efforts, the following accessibility barriers may currently still exist:
- Certain third-party plugins (e.g. for payment services) have accessibility-related limitations
- Some alternative texts are still under revision
We are continuously working to identify and remove existing barriers.
Test Environment and Technology
The accessibility evaluation was carried out using, among others, the following technologies:
- Browsers: Chrome, Firefox, Safari (latest versions)
- Operating systems: Windows 11, macOS, iOS, Android
- Assistive technologies: Keyboard navigation, screen readers
