The ergonomic Fissler safety handle with locking indicator is part of the multi-level Fissler safety system with patented technology. Together with:
- the Fissler cooking crown with traffic light function for easy pressure regulation,
- the Euromatic pressure valve including seal,
- and the special sealing ring,
the handles ensure that the pot is safely and tightly sealed. Once the lid is properly locked—indicated by a clicking sound at the handle—pressure builds up and the cooking time begins.
This allows pressure to build up safely inside the pot to cook food faster, more energy-efficiently, and more gently.
Steam Release Function on the Pressure Cooker Handle
Once cooking time is complete, the pressure cooker can be safely and easily depressurized using the steam release function on the handle. Additionally, the Vitavit® Premium pressure cooker allows convenient steam release via the cooking crown.
How Does Pressure Build-Up Work?
When heated, steam builds up inside the pressure cooker, forcing out oxygen, which is harmful to vitamins. Once the oxygen is released, the Euromatic pressure valve closes and pressure begins to build. The cooking indicator displays the pressure level inside the cooker.
