Why You Should Choose a Pressure Cooker with an Extra Lid

With an additional lid made of glass or metal, you can also use your pressure cooker without pressure, just like a traditional pot. Instead of needing two separate pots, one is enough. This saves space in your kitchen.

In Short: How Pressure Cooking Works

Pressure builds up inside an airtight pot using steam. This allows for higher temperatures to cook food faster: With a minimum amount of liquid, the boiling point is increased from 212 °F to up to 241 °F through pressure. This reduces cooking time. This method preserves vitamins and saves both time and energy.
